GLOWSTONE CANADA INC. is hiring a Construction Worker to join their team in Scarborough, ON. This position involves various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, and performing routine maintenance. The job is on a construction site and offers the opportunity to work in different environments and conditions, including outdoors and at heights.
What We’re Looking For:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and transport construction materials
-
Measure weight for rigging and hoisting
-
Read blueprints to determine work requirements
-
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
-
Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
-
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
-
Pave and rake asphalt
-
Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up salvaged materials
-
Perform routine maintenance work
-
Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
-
Remove rubble and debris from construction sites

Direct traffic near construction sites

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

Moles, concrete vibrators, circular saws, mortar and concrete mixers, forklifts, sandblasters, drills, and more
